Default 2014 Lexus lx noise

Hey guys bought a 2014 lx570 with 120k on it. Started making this groan when it is cold out. Happens on first start. Any ideas what it could be?

coming from the drivers side. Sounds like a pump trying to gain pressure. I have a video posted below

Welcome To Clublexus.
does it make this sound when you are stationary on first startup or only after you start driving?
i couldn’t tell if you were moving or stationary.
does it eventually stop?

If it makes the sound when you are stationary, open the hood and listen by the Brake Master Cylinder.

It happens on start up, stationary and when driving. It only last about 2 min after I start it up.

it really sounds like the brake system pump, i am all to familiar with the system on my SC430 and would assume it is the same on the LX570.
anyway, the pump pressurizes the accumulator, it is the round silver cylinder in the pic and is used for the ABS etc,

with that said. Next time you start the truck, have the hood open and jump out to check it. Might be easier with two people.
i just did it on mine and it was quieter and continuous until it pressurized the system.

BTW, you can do it with “KEY ON” Engine off, if you know what i mean.
