Recently absolutely no sound was coming from the speakers. This includes sat. nav./radio/telephone/screen beep etc. and I was told that the amplifier had stopped working. I see that this is a common problem given that the device is underneath the carpet, under the driver's seat! My question is, is there an alternative amplifier that will work on this particular model? I saw a YouTube video where a guy (slightly older LX) said a 0W041 from an LS430 would work - and they're much cheaper!
Anyone please advise!

 

it might not be the amplifier, it could be the multi unit display module under the passenger seat. I’m going through the same thing with mine.

mine is doing the same thing. It’s making a weird popppong noise in the speakers everytime it decides to not want to work.
