Someone I know has a chrome grille for a LX450 laying around (don't ask....he wouldn't answer). But he will only trade with me for my grills......what do you guys think....my LX450 is Black with Charcoal trim and right now it had the Charcoal stock Grille. It would be the same with the emblem and all, just chrome.....what do you guys thing...too much bling or just enough flavor?

Stripping the paint off the chrome on my grill, making it all chrome, totally changed the front of my truck. I also think it makes it look much more modern, since chrome seems to be back in on SUVs.

And a response totally worthless on all levels.

I just saw a 80 Series landcruiser yesterday in white with clear lights all around and the chrome grille. Looked so trashy.

I never went through with it, a chrome grille is something if you want attention or if you want it to match other parts of your car that are chrome, such as the wheels or trim. The only chrome thing on my car is the emblems, it would have looked out of place and I don't crave attention anymore. This thread was created when I was a little kid, I grew up and realized what actually looks good and what is gaudy.
