Default 07 Lx overheat

My car started emitting white smoke/ steam from the hood during a short drive after being parked for two hours. Shortly thereafter, the coolent temp gauge would quickly rise during short drives. Jiffy lube said they saw some unidentifies fluid leakage. They topped the coolent reserve tank off but wouldn’t check the radiator. I parked it for an hour and the coolent temp spiked after driving about a mile. The heater does not pump hot air at idle. What is the problem here? Going to flatbed it to dealer tomorrow.

Late to the game, but--was it a water pump failure? Or something very uncommon like a clogged radiator / water loop? Had you had any service done recently that might have involved removal of the serpentine belt?
