Based on everything I've read on here and ih8mud, the fob problems preventing lock/unlock are typically related to door lock actuator issues. Sure enough when I got my LX i wasn't able to lock/unlock the door from the switch on driver's master panel so I ordered a new actuator and installed it. Now, I'm able to lock it from the master driver panel, HOWEVER, from the fob I can only UNLOCK. Pressing the LOCk on the fob emits a red light on the fob however I don't hear any indication of the locks attempting to engage at all. I don't think I need any other actuators because they all lock and unlock just fine from the driver switch. Any ideas?

 

I posted too soon.. got a new key fob in the mail today , did the programming on it and found out that the lock function works on this new fob! So must've been a bad original fob.
