Default Running board removal issue

Hello.
Im working on removing the running boards on my 2000 LX470. I got the left side runner off no problem. However, the front section of the right side is presenting a problem. There are two service lines that pretty much block access to the lower bolt. I've removed the cover to these lines, but with the tools I have, I'm not comfortable aggressively trying to remove the bolt, which is on super tight, without bumping/breaking the top service line. I may have to go buy a longer 13 socket and a flex head wrench. Any one had/conquered this issue?
Thanks,
Sean

Hi Sean,

It's been several months since I took mine off-- but I think I just used a u-joint and an extension on my regular socket wrench. The lines don't leave much clearance, but they moved just enough for me to work around.

Hope this helps-- The LX looks so much better without the boards. Night & Day difference. Now, I just need my front mudflaps. Best of luck! -Daniel

Yeah, I think I just bent them out of the way.

Yeah, I figured it out eventually. I just took it on the Alpine Loop in Colorado, so thank God I took them off when I did. Thanks for the help!
