Hey Everyone,today suddenly when going to get some things from the market,i was about to park and suddenly the radio light started to on and off,again and again,it was night so the lights were on,so i stopped,switched off the car and tried to on it back to see if the problem still,i was surprised that the car didnt on,the battery died. I Went to get a battery to change it,so after 10min i came back and i said let me give a try to on the car before(without changing the battery,same battery still on the car) , so the car turned on. I on the headlights and then 30 seconds later the car turned off,so the battery died again. I didnt want to leave it there and my house is 2 min far from the market so waited another 10min,and switched on the car with lights off and took it home. It seems as a bad alternator ???
My car Is LX 470 1998.

 

It sounds like the alternator. Just did the same repair to my 99 lx470...paid around $500 to have it replaced.
