2004 Certified Purchase Help
Hi I am the new guy. Looking at inking the deal on a 2004 Certified. Has 47500. We have agreed for $34,700. I was going to buy a new QX 56 but I just refuse to pay $70k.
Do you think it is a good price? I have asked for a copy of the work order to see what work was done when certified. The car is a one owner in a warm climate and all the required service was done at the store I am buying from.
ANY THOUGHTS?
Thanks

JJ,
I saw that you are getting the work order for what was done to certify the vehicle, however, with the VIN # in hand, you can call your local Lexus Dealership and they can look up the service records of the LX. If the truck had anything done to it at a LEXUS dealership, it will show. That dealership can give you the print out.
The mileage seems to be a nice advantage and it is always nice when a vehicle has come out of a warm weather climate. In general, prices for used SUV's go up in the Fall-Winter and then drop when spring rolls around. So compare the $ on Edmunds or KBB.com to make sure you are comfortable with the price.
Additionally, Lexus.com has model changes and information for each year of the LX. If you haven't already seen the site, it might be good for you to see what the 05-07 model's features were compared to the 04.
