Hey guys, just bought 2 LX470's
both great cars, just had a question though...
is there any way to make the ride hight stay on low all the time?
as i put it on low and turn off hight control, but it still goes back to Normal
thanx

I, too, was a bit disappointed after we purchased our LX only to find that the vehicle automatically raised itself to normal ride height at crusing speed. I always wondered why owners would drive on an open freeway with the LX at such a high setting killing their aerodynamics. Only after purchasing do I know.
You need to get an AHC controller. There are two types I've seen. One forces the AHC to stay in L, N, or H at any speed. The other more advanced type (available in Japan) allows one to adjust the front/rear independently in 10mm increments at any speed.
Slee offroad offers a simple, in-house one that either allows one to revert to the factory setting or has an override setting. The BBlanks one allows you to set it in L, N, or H. Be aware that if you set it to L, you will have virtually no suspension compression ability, plus your front alignment will be off if you set it to anything other than N. I believe this is why the new LX570 only drops the front by 1" at highway speed....any more and the tires would wear incorrectly, alignment (mostly camber) will be off, suspension would have no travel in one direction.
IMHO, the optimal way is to get the controller and, say, drop the front 1" and the rear 1/2" at highway speed.

I guess the low setting is used by off-roaders to essentially "duck" trees limbs, etc.
