Lexus LX 470 SUV Lineup expanded with Exclusive Special Edition
The LX 470 from Toyota's luxury division, Lexus, proudly claims to be just as capable and composed off the road as it is on it. For customers after something reliable, safe and especially capable and luxurious, it's an ideal choice.
Now, for an even more svelte and entertaining package, the LX is being offered with a Special Edition designation which represents a limited-production, fully-loaded version of the SUV flagship.
In addition to the impressive list of standard features common to all LX models, the Special Edition adds rear-seat DVD entertainment system with wireless headphones, an exclusive black onyx exterior, a special stone leather interior, chrome accents and uniquely badged scuff plates and floor mats.
Lexus Canada's director, Stuart Payne says "With the LX 470 Special Edition, we have taken the ultimate luxury SUV and made it even better, then wrapped it in an exclusive package that will make this one of today's most desirable vehicles on the road - and off it. This exclusive model represents a unique combination of the muscle of a full-size SUV and the contemporary luxury upon which Lexus has built its reputation."
Carrying a pricetag of $106,000, the new LX 470 Special Edition is scheduled to appear in Canadian showrooms in the near future.

I worked it out a few months ago, and the canadian base base (and Australian base price) converted to $90K USD. In fact, the $70K price in the US is the CHEAPEST LX470 price I've seen except for the LC Cygnus sold in Japan ($55K USD [add ~25% in taxes/licensing/fees, so $70K USD out the door]).
