Pick it up in a couple weeks. Black with XM. Having a buddy who does a/v installs put in a rear seat DVD system once I get it. I know of a couple dealers willing to give $5k off MSRP if anyone is interested.

I am getting mine from a dealer up in Boston, I go up there once a month and often find the best deals up there. Got a bit better dealer and sooner delivery up there. The Richmond Lexus dealer offered me $5k off, if you want to PM me I can give you the salespersons email address.

I am in the Charlottesville area BTW.

Thanks for the info. I will keep it in mind. A few months ago I bought a 2004 LC when I learned that no major changes were coming so I am put for a while. I bet that if major changes come with the 2006 model the dealers will likely go back to asking full MSRP.

Good to know that you got a good deal! Enjoy the truck. BTW, there is a recall affecting the navi system on the 2004/2005 models. Make sure they do the upgrade before you pick up your LX.

So who knows if the 2006 models will have drastic changes? My mom's about to get a 2005, infact she's sitting at the dealership right now.

No one knows. Rumor is the new LX may be based on the Sequoiaeoiaueoiaoueoa chassis, which would suck, but it would make the "old" LX/LC a classic/tank and prob help it hold its value. I would just get it now (as I did) and if something better comes out get one in a couple years after the bugs are worked out.

Yuh I talked to another dealer and they confirmed that the 06 would remain the same but wasn't too sure about 07. I thought my mom was getting some special deal taking off 6000 off sticker but it seems like everybody's getting the same treatment. I guess she'll have a new Lexus soon

That sounds like a good deal. MRSP on a base model 2005 LX 470 which I got from Yahoo autos is $64,775 and dealer cost is $56,352. Congratulations on the new LX, enjoy! Please post some pictures when you get a chance.

MSRPwas $67,157, plus $795 for XM installed, minus $5500, $50 doc fee, $5 Title fee. Final price $62,502. Got mine at Lexus of Watertown MA. Other dealers up there sounded like they would deal too. They also allowed $5k paid on a CC (to earn some miles).

Hey good luck with it and you will love it. I got my LS from watertown they gave me a once in a lifetime deal. But they cheated me with the certified warranty. It had 12 k on it.

Well mine's still on the way there and brand new so it sure as heck better not have 12k on it!
