Are you out east?
I sell you mine, you sell me yours for the same price.
We pay our own shipping.
You can ship to a US address in Idaho.
Can you show me some pictures?
I can send mine off first my car won't be on the road for a couple more months...

I would just find a set from the local boneyard and just swap them out for inspection to get past, and swap them back if you want to run them. The only difference in the US vs. the JDM's are the one piece design and the diffusers(lines on the lights) are a little different. That and the all important "DOT CERTIFIED" mark is, so called, important. Swap out is only a matter of 3/4 bolts and only takes about 5 minutes period. If you get a set from a 93+ they are still the same bulb, so you wil not have to do any extra work to convert them. You could also use the headlights from a pre 93 LS, however you WILL have to convert the wiring harness to accept the appropriate headlight bulb( not really a big deal,,pretty easy); the physical headlight itself will still fit in the housing.
I run the JDM lights on my 92 LS here in the states, and while they may not be "technically legal", aka missing the DOT markings, I have never had a problem. Unless you have to have your car inspected every 6 months or so,,taking 10 minutes to do a quick swap with an extra set of lights, which will bolt right up(93 and up wont even require a headlight bulb change), is not too bad.
My 92 is in my sig, with the JDM lights. I am with you,,,they DO give the car a MUCH cleaner look.

I will be travelling down to California in a couple of weeks (looks like southern California), might be easier to swap parts without including the shipping, and seeing what you are getting.
