lol, I would never thought it would look good on the sedan, until I saw the supermade y34, perhaps maybe someone can photoshop it to see how it looks, then maybe I will give it a try

 

actually many high end sports coupes have it like that, if you look around

 

never heard of it called "jetfighter"
you get the black roof with the panorama sunroof

I'd say if you do it, your windows should be tinted.

The 2nd gen GS guys are doing it pretty big.

Lol, that's what they call on my nsx. Yeah, I have seen many MB with black roof, cuz I work in a MB dealership as a tech, I really like that look. Just wondering how it would look on our LS430.... yeah, my window is tinted, but I don't really wanna paint my roof without seeing it first

 

ohhh so thats what you mean by jet fighter style.black roof.if you dont wanna paint it,do what some people have done.wrap the roof with black vinyl.its basically a big sticker.and if you dont like it,just rip it off.

 

Ok now this thread makes since, the blk roof seems to be real popular now.

Ah I guess I already have it,, since my car is for all intents and purposes Almost black already LOL No tints for me,, Drove one with tents and felt like I was in a Cave. Also I like for other drivers to see me at stop signs, and when I give the the High Salute for tailgating.

 

 

Oh ****, GS3mike, that's a great pic, that Ls430 does have a black roof right? I am feeling much better to paint mine like that. Anything with a side shot?

 

That white LS with the black roof does look really nice. There is a thread about an LS that was vandalized and brought back to beauty that has this done. I would pull up the thread if I was not on my iPhone. He has a nice setup with black wheels and some LED spot lights under his car.
