Default Wheel question

I have a chance to buy a set of Factory reproductions from another member. My question is, What do you think of the reproductions vs. original factory wheels? The reproductions have a step up with fake rivots. The OEM's don't. How about quality? What do you think? I'm open for both.

Curious, why do you say this? From a looks standpoint or a quality standpoint?

I can't speak on the quality but i can say they're ugly imo...you have to be happy with them no matter what i or anyone else says.

Anybody else? Does anybody have any pictures?

And how do you feel about a tire size of 235/50/18? Think there will be to much gap?

Also, If I were to do 19 or 20's, what size tire would you run for both? Something tall enough to fill in the gap but also clear everything on a factory height 2002 LS430?

Guys, I aplogize. I'm not trying to be a pest here but I am very near buying wheels.

It's between the 18" replicas

Or these in either 18's or 19's. What tire would you recomend to clear and also fill wheel gap with these?

I think you're talking the 5-spoke replicas off e-bay for like $450 right? I like the 18" overall, and I think the rivets give it a different look. Whether I like them or not, I'm not sure, but I think I do like them.

As for quality, I would imagine they're close to OEM, but at $450 for four, doubt they're FANTASTIC.
