Default How to remove glove box

I want to replace my control blower motor on my 1996 LS400, but I have no idea how to remove the glove box. Can someone tell me how I would remove the glovebox to install the control blower motor. Thanks

this diagram will help somewhat - keep in mind there is a hidden fastener, behind a secret panel, inside the glove compartment!

Where is this hidden fastener? I took out all the screws and can't seem to get the glove box out

do not force anything, keep searching for fasteners you have missed - they are there!

I'll snap a pic tomorrow. If you start on it before a pic is up, the left side of the glove box has a squarish opening to insert the appropriate tool to undo the fastener.

I found this when I had to replace my CD changer on my 96. The process is very similar if not the same.

Good luck.

That video covers it and the glove box is pretty straightforward. When the glove box is tilted down, there are three screws that also fasten it in. They are all in a straight horizontal line across. The left most is this one so follow it across to the two other Phillips heads:
