Default A cracked ventilation hose on my 98 Celsior

Look at this.

My Celsior 98 (UCF-21) had unusual problems. One is an intermittent whistle sound and the other is unstable idle rpm. I finally found the cause and fixed 3 problems simultaneously trying to replace the PCV valve seal which is leaking oil some. When I removed the PCV valve and the hose connected to the throttle body from it, I found a big crack which has the length of almost an inch.

The crack was at the bottom side of the hose and you could not see it without removing it. The whistle sound was intermittent and I first thought that it was coming out from the throttle body. It only happened when the food was closed and the temperature is high. When I open the food, the sound has disappeared quickly and it was hard for me to determine which part was making the noise. Opening the food, the cool air stopped the sound, I finally understood.

13 years of age is a turning point when rubber parts are not in good condition any more. I also found a transmission mount has a crack. I have to replace it too soon.

Excuse my limited English but I thought I'd better to inform this to members.

Glad ya found it b/c I know those mysterious whistles can get pretty annoying.
This will probably help other members out if they can't find thier whistle, it's a good place to look.

Excuse your limited English???? It's so much better then alot of the USA/English people that are on here.
