Megan EZ's on UCF20/UCF21

Does anybody here have Megan EZ's installed on their '98-'00 LS? If so, please post pics of the lowest setting. I'm interested in these coilovers but I'm not sure if these will slam. Thanks.

i believe the EZ are based on the same design as the LP, without the 32-way adjustability (same spring rates, perch design, collars, etc). they will go low, but like the LP, you will need to mess with the preload to go lower (at least to tuck tires you do). good luck!

that's unfortunately what i heard as well. ah.. on a budget so i dont want to be spending alot on coilovers but i do want something that can slam..

dont mean to brag or anything.. but to any who doubted the megan ez's. just slapped the fronts on today and i still have 3 inches left of thread left to go lower! i can't even drive like this.. so i gotta raise it back up. only thing that should be doubted if anything is the ride quality on these. didnt have a chance to drive it out yet, but i'll be running full stiffness. here are some pics for the meantime..

on stock 98-00 wheels , can't even turn.. fat tires ftl



alot better.. stock 3gs wheels, low profile and stretched. i'm literally less than half an inch off the ground, underpanels scraping.

^LOL, i know, its retarded right? my cousin originally let his friend borrow these stock wheels for his gs400. my friend wasn't satisfied with the big tirewall since he wanted to be slammed. so he just picked up low profile tires and stretched in case he needed it. the gs350 rims are 18x8.. so that's why i'm sunken in alot. i'll probably throw some spacers on in the future.

yup. you can come by and see for yourself. im not even tucking rim in the front. i cant move my car anywhere till i adjust the rears.

its the fronts that can go super dumped, its the rears that cant go as low as the fronts, even on my ucf10 my fronts were dumped, but the rear I had to lose abit of the preload for the rear to match the fronts.

I dunno how it is on the 20, but I'm sure it cant be much different, but if you go too low in the front the upper A arms will hit the shock tower.

but it looks awesome, wish I was able to find a ucf20!

we'll see about the rears. i've always thought it was vice versa where the fronts would be higher than the rears. did you accidentally put the fronts in the rear/rear in the fronts? cause they bolt exactly the same way for fronts and rears. make sure the higher spring rate goes in the front.

You can't flip flop the coilovers. The rears are much longer. As for UCF10's I can also say that the Rears max out way faster than the fronts on Megan LP. I'm tucking tire on 18's but I had to adjust for preload. I plan on fiddling with mine a little bit more for more drop in the rear. Fronts are fine. Because you are in a UCF20 you may want to modify your exhaust to avoid constant scraping if you look at Vincent's build thread you can see how he tucked his exhaust because he is really low as well.

0.5" front bumper from the ground? Or pinchwelds? I cant tell coz the headlights are blinding the photo
Post a daytime pic if you can. I dont know any UCF20 that low on coils, with their front bumper 0.5" off the ground. Hell i'm not even that low

And tucking rim on factory 16's?
