Default Started my 2jzgte swap

So after driving my 94 ls400 I decided to replace my old beat up 1uz. I had 262,094 miles. My Friend Rob is the my main go to guy when it comes to swaps. He is has done a lot of swaps on 86-92 Toyota Supra and sc300 and sc400. I will be posting more info along the way and also more pics.

good stuff. plans for trans/diff?

which mounts are you planning on using, or will you be going custom? (afaik you may not need to)

So far its been a bolt on ordeal, The mounts are of the aristo clip all we did is switch the driver side to passenger and passenger to driver. The trans mounts is still the ls400 one with the aristo trans bushing we also had to swap the out put flange from the 1uz to the 2jz trans so that the drive shaft bolts right on, in other words its real simple to get the 2jz to fit in the ls400.

P.S
Does anybody have a clue were i can get a ecu pinout for the 93 LS400 not the two row pin ecu theres many of those but cant find one with the newer style ecu.

thats what i remember hearing about, using aristo mounts.

which trans are you using? you're going to want to change the rear end gearing depending on what you choose.

for now, would only the OP pm me/im me about this stuff. BECAUSE i'm not 1000% sure of my information and don't want to spread misinformation without some confirmation. Not trying to mislead you guys but since the OP is the one doing this, he's the one im going to forward the information i have (which isnt really all that secret but rather basically what is needed to get the running gear and wiring done with the least pain) from talking with several members (and non-members) who've done this swap to see what can and can't be confirmed. (many are no longer active but i have their PMs laying around) What gets confirmed either myself or the OP can post up.

the reason i dont want anyone else PMing me about it is because i get a ton of tech questions Pm'd to me every week so it's a LOT easier when not everyone pm's me for info that i can't back up (and plan to make public anyways!).
