Hey!
I had a terrible day! I forgot to take my key and I locked it inside the trunk!
I called pop-a-lock but he just opened the front door and after that the security system was alarming for a couple of minutes! But now the trunk cant be opened from inside the car! Perhaps it wont work until I insert the key! I don’t have a spare key! What shall I do?!!!
Please help….

 

search for it..i think i read in a old thread about a line running thru the armrest.

 

Should have searched and saved your self a post and waiting for an answer if it is an emergency.
It might have helped to know the year but you are SOL.
No access to the trunk but from the trunk , remote or release switch .

 

If you can get into the car, can't you just pull the lever o.o

 

the alarm may have disabled that. it is electronically controlled.

or you could just take a screwdriver and take the trunk switch off the dash and jump a wire so you send +12v to the trunk solenoid, opening it.

 

You can take the sub out of the trunk and fish a wire coat hanger through..

Assuming your trunk isn't full of chit

 

Maybe you can go to a Lexus dealership and have a key made from the VIN number, call them.

can't you take out the rear seats and go through there? coz thats what happened to me before and i had to take apart my whole backseat. i have 2gs though, im not sure if you can do this on yours...

 

for lexus ls400 there is no way from back seats to trunk!!!!

 

there's an 8-10inch hole where the subwoofer goes that disagrees with you.

 

I had this problem last month, the guy from the RAC breakdown service got into the car and then took the rear sub out of the parcel shelf then used a telescopic magnet to reach the keys in the trunk. I wont leave them in there again i can tell you.
