Default Clear Headlights for the 95-97 LS400

This is something I've never seen before... and looks very cool.

It would definitely set you apart from all the other LS400's on the road + Update the look of your LS.

be good with a projector retro fit. not sure about driving it as is. since i knoe the lines in the glass helps to create the beam patterns for our cars. but it does seem like it has the reflectors inside hehe.
reminds me of this LS i wanted to copy

Cool! I wonder what the quality is like. It's a shame the exchange rate isn't in my favour any more

i believe they just took apart their headlight housing and sanded down all the lines in the glass. there are a couple of people that are doing that on hid planet to the last time i remember. so they could retro fit a projector in our year ls. but im not sure how well its going for them.

won't work
can't sand down glass, and can't polish it back to clear without a LOT of special equipment.

i KNOW i've seen 95-97 clear lense headlights on ebay.

Maybe it's just me.......

But I think the diffused lens on the 95-97's look great.

I think the crystal clear lenses look very cheesy. Just doesn't fit the overall look of the 95-97s.

It DOES however work on the 98-00 Don't waste your time. trade in your 95-97 for a 98-00 haha

I think they are a cool upgrade but on my car I think they would not look right. If you had a body kit then it would look more in line. I like them tho.

I like them a lot, but they're kind of expensive

There was a thread in the Pacific forum about a local company here in WA looking for interest in producing a clear plastic lens for the earlier LS.

All you'd have to do is bake your housing and replace lenses.

I think the thread got deleted due to it's age, but I started another thread there to let the vendor know about the interest here.

it was moved to the vendor forum. but the glass is what gives the LS its beam pattern since we dont have projectors like the other models.
