For those of you who have ditched run-flats, what do you use for a spare wheel?

 

A tire inflation kit that includes goo and a pump.

 

Guess that’s what will come with my new-to-me 2020 LS500 AWD that I pick up tomorrow.
Either way, a flat would be a major deal for a 76 year-old with spinal stenosis.

 

Congrats on your new 2020 LS500. Mine is a 2018 which I do like the car. I ditched the run flats last month for Michelin regular tires and went on line at Amazon and bought the tire inflator and goop in a combined package. The pump plug into the port in the car or battery.

 

I also have a flat repair kit in my car in case I need it. If you're worried about using it yourself, I think if you have AAA or some other service (maybe Lexus?) the driver of the tow truck that comes will likely help you use the kit so you can be on your way 10 minutes after they arrive.

 

I got the flat fix kit with plugs, tire inflator and AAA. But U may want to invest in some run flats especially for a 76 year-old with spinal stenosis.
