There is a controller in the back that allows you to adjust it +7 and -7. This is the lowest setting of -7. It will NOT go back from this setting to a drivable level. You will need to adjust it from this lowest lever back up to your ALIGNED setting before driving other than in a parking lot. When I say aligned setting, it is the setting you set it to when you took it in for an alignment which should be the level it goes to over that certain speed on the highway. I sold my car but have this module sitting in my closet.

I have some questions about the actual use of the controller.
1. So, say I want to set the car to a 50mm drop with a slight rake forward, I set that with the controller/links, and then that becomes the default ride height?
2. Once I've set the default ride height, does the in-cabin button still work to raise the car to clear speed bumps/driveways etc.?
2a. If the in-cabin button still works, does it still raise to the factory "Hi" height or does raise to a set height over the default?
3. If I want to lower the car all the way for parking/car shows, I would then have to reset the controller all the way low after I park?

If you want to raise it again, you can raise it slightly while in the lowered mode. Or if you hold down the button again in the car for about 5 seconds, it will revert to your stock ride height and you can raise it further from there.
I live in Northern Alberta in Canada, so we have extremely cold winters with loads of snow. So during the winter months, I leave the car in the stock ride height mode, so that I don't get my car stuck in any deep snow. And will often raise the vehicle when going through some areas with really deep snow. So the controller is perfect because I don't have to make any adjustments on the controller at all, just hold down on the stock ride height button near the armrest.
So in short, you use the stock ride height button in your car. Hold for ten seconds to have it in the lowered mode, and hold it again for 5 seconds to return to stock ride height. It also saves whatever mode you selected last whenever you turn on the car, you don't have to switch it every time get in and out the car.
When you set your ride height in the controller, you just have to hold down on the factory ride height button for about 10 seconds. The light on the dash for the ride height will flash a few times and then it will switch to the height that you set on the controller.

You are most welcome! Also you might be able to find the controller off of Amazon Japan, they will ship to Canada and the US depending on the seller. Because of the Japanese Yen being so down in value at the moment, I was able to pick up the controller for roughly $620 Canadian ($430 ish US) shipped to my door withing 3 business days.
At the time of purchase most other sellers within Canada and the US were charging around $1200. So Amazon Japan is a good way to save a few bucks on one.
