So I just installed my Escort Max 360 into my 2019 LS 500 and had to use the sensor power on the right side.




I had to figure out what wires were hot and ground. This is the harness I tapped into using wire taps I bought for the Escort.




For switched power, connect:

Black tap wire to the white harness wire

and

Red tap wire to the black harness wire

Works like a champ.

Regan.....I was going to be taking my LS in next week to have my 8500ci installed. The installer said he wasn't sure if the cruise control would cause interference with the K band and/or the laser operation. Are you aware of any issues? I had the 8500ci in my Volvo and there was no conflict between the Escort Radar and the cruise radar. Thanks for any info you might have.

I can't answer your question as I haven't driven the car much as I am waiting to drop it at my body guy for PPF and ceramic and didn't want it chipped up before I got it to him. I haven't notice any interference in the first few days of driving it and I did have the detector installed but longer term testing hasn't been done yet.

No problem. I had mine installed a couple of weeks ago, and at first I thought all was working well, but now believe I am getting some interference. I drove by one of those neighborhood speed signs the other day, and my radar didn't even go off. Very strange. I have had it throw up both K and Ka band warnings elsewhere, but I haven't spotted the police after it went off. I usually am able to spot them after I get the warning. This is an 8500ci unit from 2014, so not sure the technology of the device is working correctly with a modern car.
