Default Installing Illuminated Door Sills

Has anyone installed these yet. I had no problem taking off the old sill but I cannot connect the wire to have the power go to it. Is there something I need to take off of the ends because I cannot get them to lock together. Thanks

Did anyone do this and get it to work correctly?

Default These are Plug and Play

I contacted Bell Lexus in AZ. they confirmed that all the cars are pre-wired for these. "Yes they can, it is an accessory add on. They come wired to accept these already"

Here is a video that shows one getting changed. Looks very easy.

Open the door.
The Rubber mats say Lexus.
The door sill says Lexus, It now lights up.
Then we add flood light to stop working, Instead of illuminating the ground, it tells us "Lexus".
My car cam with them. They scratch. Do I need sill protectors also?

My wife Audi had the rings when she opens the doors projected on the ground. She asked why this was a good idea?
I could not give her an answer.
