They certainly will run lease deals and there will be big incentives. The incentives on the S Class and 7 Series are HUGE too, its just a requirement in the segment. $10k off anything in the segment is typical.

you are not going to get touchscreen with hte current screens location. Good luck trying to reach for the screen. There is a reason why the screen is higher, better visibility and it frees up the center stack whereas a touchscreen hogs all the space

Having driven a bit more in the LS 500, I really like how the buttons on the dash are angled nicely towards the driver and all within easy reach too.

At least sales for the LS are doing good. Over a thousand in it's first(?) full month of March. Only behind the S Class in this segment. That seems like it's headed in the right direction. Hopefully they capitalize and keep the car fresh with updates in the new model years. I see a lot of ads for it as well. Have yet to see one irl though.

I saw a Black LS500 yesterday. This car was on 635 East taking Exit towards Dallas or Texarkana. This is the second one so far for me.

Ho-lee crap. WTH is Lexus thinking. That makes my eye twitch to look at it. Looks like Lexus hired Xzibit to "pimp their LS ride". Somebody should be fired.

That color has been available in Lexus LS for years outside the U.S. In real life it is a gorgeous burgundy looking color. Who ever edited that picture needs to be fired. Plus I believe this interior is not available in the U.S. like the previous generations.

Plus, don't believe many of the reviews that come out of Europe. Most of them are unnecessarily biased.

I'm with John341, who suggests avoiding European reviews because "Most of them are unnecessarily biased." I say stick to the other reviews where the bias is required.

I also don't see the point of getting upset about an interior color scheme. Thats why there are options.

Let's see, I bought my LS 500 in early May. It's been three months and almost 5000 miles, but since I set up the auto temp control on the seats before I even left the dealership exit lounge, I have not needed to touch the controls AT ALL. That's why the buttons are removed, folks, because the seats are now auto cooled or heated based on the temperature in the car and of the seats. I'm sure someone who has decided not to upgrade to the new LS 500 will forever complain about not having the buttons and ***** to control the seats' temperature and the much more efficient and more powerful fans that work on these seats in the LS 500. But in the meantime, I will enjoy the comfortable seats without ever needed to touch the controls.

In the mean time some are moving towards everything voice command based with AI, Talking will do just snything with traditional back up. I always wished Lexus had better ergonomics.

I hope that you realise that the someone you are referring to who didn't upgrade to the new 5LS is actually a very large number of people.
We certainly want you to enjoy your new purchase, but I hope you have the strength to accept that you're in the minority.
Nothing is perfect, but the rationale of this thread was to appeal to the majority.
