Food for thought - should the 5LS have been delivered in two distinct body styles - a conventional sedan similar to S Class/7 Series, and a 4 door Gran Coupe similar to the AMG GT and BMW M8???
Rather than just a single 5LS body style trying to fulfil the duties of both a sporty radical looking Gran Coupe, and a conservatively styled spacious soft riding luxury saloon?

Audi is said to be readying a full size luxury 4 door gran coupe in the A8-based A9.

Lexus is really falling behind both in the lack of body style choices, and the lack of engine options...
