I'm the new owner of a 2022 LS500, and thinking about getting the Lexus integrated dashcam installed. Just wondering if anyone with it already installed can provide feedback. Any regrets or major disappointments?

 

I'm thinking about getting one myself as well. Plan to install it myself, provided I can get my hands on one. Until now I found only suppliers that won't ship to The Netherlands.
Hooking in on this topic for pros and cons, being well aware that it's not the best on the market but I like the appearance and integration.

 

I have had one on my 23 LS500 for about 4 months. As far as image quality and easy of use it seems pretty good. I have had one issue with it though. About a month ago my wife were going to the mall and the car began beeping incessantly and neither of us could determine where it was coming from. There were no warning light on the dash or anywhere else. Fortunately we were only a few miles from our Lexus dealership, so off we went. We drove into the service entrance and were met by the attendant who know exactly what it was as soon as he heard it. He got in the drivers seat and removed the memory card from the dashcam and reinstalled it. End of problem. It hasnʻt done it again but I have a feeling it will, this wasnʻt his first rodeo with that issue. Hope this helps

 

I researched and found the cam was not as good as after market. So I purchased the Dungar wiring kit and got the Vantrue N4 Pro. With the kit it was so much easier to use the mirror power supply. I also set my wife RX350 up with it too.
