As the title states, I replaced the battery in my ‘19 LS500. Now I have a “Rear Camera Detection Unavailable” message. I have tried turning the steering wheel lock to lock and to drive the car straight at 22mph, per the manual. Neither have worked. I tried accessing the hidden service menu, but the “Steering Angle Setting” is greyed out and won’t let me access it. Anything else I can try?

Hi, I was wondering what battery that you used to replace the factory installed battery. Does the electronics on the old batery in the LS 500 2019 have to be swapped over? Thanks

 

I believe he is referring to the battery in the trunk that powers the accessories. 12V AGM.
