For some reason the interior pics look darker than in person. As I said before, pictures don't do justice. The rubber mats are from Lexus, they also look way darker in the pics.

Pics seldom capture colors perfectly, the interior may look darker in your pics, but black leather usually appears lighter than in person, they often look grey in pics.

Did you take the rear license plate off just to take pics without showing the # BTW ?

 

No. The car is brand new, I haven't received the license plates yet and I hate those dealer installed frames.

 

Probably 'white balance' on your camera is off - automatic can only do so great by 'guessing'. Most cameras let you indicate if you're taking pics in day light, cloudy, indoors, fluorescent, etc. Try that. I'm guessing your interior is that near white color right? I saw an LS the other day with that interior and it looks GREAT.

No, it's the cashmere here definately, not the alabaster. Alabaster does not come with this reddish wood trim, but a darker brown wood with a more pronounced pattern.
Actually I don't even think the cashmere in person looks significantly lighter than in these pics, I've sat in one before.

I can't decide whether the paint looks greyish-green or is it greenish-grey? Whichever it is, I likes it!
And I especially like the rear shot photo - this car looks so damn classy and sexy from behind!

 

The interior is the Cashmere. In fact if you look at the picture of the open driver's door, the seat color is very very close to how it looks in person. The edge of the door on the same pic looks a little lighter than it really is, maybe that's why alabaster was mentioned, although it's in fact Cashmere.

 

OK, thanks guys, now I get it. Cashmere not alabaster. I actually just edited my edited version of the back seats to look more like the front seat picture. It was a tiny hue adjustment. The original you posted luxofreak looks a bit 'reddish'. Maybe my edit is closer now.

 

Looks awesome. That paint finish really accentuates the styling of the new LS.

Thanks guys for the compliments, I really like this car. And bitkahuna, the hue correction looks great, nice job.

I just ordered some license plate frames. Chrome with 3D chrome "Lexus" at the bottom part with a gray shield. Very subdue and classy, I think it will blend well with the other accents the car has.

Now I want to see some LS-460 with different wheels so I can start making my mind on what will look bad, too pimpy or just perfect.
