Max tire size question.
This is somewhat unclear so I am making a new thread trying to figure something out.
I am attempting to figure out the absolute max size 40 or higher aspect tires I can fit on a stock ride height coil spring LS with nothing larger than the stock 18 or 19 inch rims, I am getting conflicting info. Some sources say 255s on all 4 corners using 19 inch rims or 245s up front and 285s in the back on 18s, I would LIKE to get 305s or 315s in the back as long as they wont protrude past the wheel wells and at least a 255 up front. If it would be possible to get 265s-285s all the way around that would be best but it's looking like I can't go much bigger than 255s in the front or it will rub/have issues under full compression. Tire type is PS4s and DOTR tires.....
Reason being is forced induction requires more traction, I want this ironed out now before Elate is done with development of their kit. I am starting the process on Muller suspension and looking for an ISF rear LSD as well so that everything will be ready. The tires are throwing me off since I would like to have as much mechanical grip as possible but I am not sure what will have full travel/turn radius
Thanks to anyone who has solid info!
