A few days ago, the battery in my 2014 LS460L died. I changed the battery in the car, and now the key fob does not recognize the car without touching the fob to the car. When I try to unlock the car, no signal is received by the car. Do I need to reprogram my remote? Or is it a different problem? If I need to reprogram it, what steps should I take? It has been hard to find a set of directions that aligns with the car's capabilities, ie. without needing to insert the key into the ignition.

 

So when you bring the fob very close to the car, it works?

 

It works properly now. For some reason, the fob was being finicky. Thanks for trying to help.
