Default Weird AC issue after blower motor replacement

I'm asking you guys once again for your insights. I recently replaced the blower motor in my 2007 LS460 which was pretty straight-forward, I'm now noticing however when I start or stop my car,
there is a strange clunking noise emanating from the passenger side (where the blower motor resides) that sounds like vents or something opening/closing. I'm unable to start the air conditioner for
about 30 seconds, there is the clunking noises and then suddenly the climate screen responds and the A/C fires up and everything is fine. The temperature seems to reset back to 75 every time this happens and I
adjust it downwards. When I stop the car, after 5-10 seconds the clunking sounds happen again, it sounds like rats running around in the glove box. Does anyone have any insights as to what is going on? The replacement
blower motor was OEM and was simple to install.

Sounds like you didn't have it in "recirc" mode before you started maybe.
