Default 2015 LS460 Crafted Line brake issues

Hello, I just purchased this Crafted Line LS and the brakes are super touchy and jerky. I don’t know if the rotors are warped or if the braking assist is jacked? Anyone have the same issues? I know what warped rotors feel like but not sure what is causing the extreme touchiness. I purchased As-Is through a GM dealership and have an appointed to check it out but unsure if GM techs will be up to date on Lexus technology. Thanks in advance

Is it an F-sport? That touchiness is brake bite, highly desirable if you have a sporty car and drive it aggressively but is a turn off for people who have never driven anything like it before.

Try to find out if they're the original pads. I bought mine ('15 crafted f-sport) around 2018 or so and the brakes were terrible. They replaced the pads and resurfaced the rotors under warranty. Either way, chances are it's the pads--either the crazy aggressive ones they put on the f-sports, or whatever somebody decided to replace them with.

Yup F-Sport, the touchiness I get but knowing it’s normal makes believe the rotors are probably warped or might have been replaced with substandard ones.

Don't underestimate how horrible the OEM ones were. Seriously I was embarrassed to drive my kids down the street to the bus stop in my 3 year old car because the brakes were so loud/squeaky. They were meant for heavy use at high speed and even after there was a recall the dealers still recommended owners keep the originals for increased performance.

All is normal then, that's a high performance brake feel that throws comfort to the wind. If it's not shaking under braking it's fine, an extremely aggressive bite and squeaking is normal due to the pad materials. Try a 100-20 hard stop and then send it through some curves with a late brake point, the setup will make a lot more sense after that. If you never really get into 2x the speed on turns that the sign suggests or ever past 100 then the F-sport package doesn't really bring much to the table.

If that's not for you then you may want to consider using different pads but you will lose a lot of fade resistance and response. The F-sport is very hard edged even though it's an LS

You can always swap down to the normal LS brake setup, if you do please let me know if you want to sell your F-sport setup lol!
