Techstream and Windows Versions
Hello All.
What version of Techstream is everyone running? I purchased a Tactrix Openport 2.0 cable off of someone who tunes Tacomas and 4Runners. While I was at his place, I tried to do some customizations on my son's LS430 (door unlock and daytime running lights). For some reason, the customization options didn't populate for either. At first, I thought it could be the cable, but he connected everything to his Tacoma and RCF and everything worked smoothly. He has version 16.xx and Windows 10. I want something that will work for both the LS460 and the LS430. Any insight? I posted on an LS430 FB page, and someone said that version 15.2 and Windows 10 worked for them for their 430.
Thanks.

We used the same cable and computer for all three vehicles. The LS430 is the only one that one in which the software would not pull up the customization options. It would also not pull up the warning options for the LS430. It could pull up the the vehicles VIN, make, model, and engine code, however. The two other vehicles (Tacoma and RCF) worked with no issues.
