Default Music on the HDD

I'm wondering if anyone here has copied cd's to the HDD? If so, can you give me any tips or tricks about the quality of the recordings?

I've stored over 80 cd's on my hard drive and the sound quality is excellent.

Nice, thanks. I'll start my process tomorrow. I guess I'll break out the big manual and read a little before I dive in.

Didn't know this was even possible! Will have to do the same. FW, maybe a quick tutorial would be helpful to us tech challenged folks!

While the hard drive quality is decent it is not cd quality. If you have a good ear the difference is noticeable. Instead of using the hard drive you can burn a lot of songs onto a dvd instead.

I use both, the convenience of the hd is nice.

This thread has a lot of info. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...ac-vs-hdd.html

It's fairly easy. Load the CD and hit record and the rest is self explanatory. You can store the entire CD or just the tracks you like.

Thanks for the tip. I have always stored the entire CD then deleted the ones I don't like. I just loaded another CD and only selected the tracks I like.
