Default Confirmed p0335 code

I had a p0335 code and replaced the crankshaft sensor already. Will the confirmed p0335 code clear itself or do I have to manually clear it? When I first got the code, I got the trifecta of lights: vsc cel and trac off. Since the sensor has been replaced, the trifecta lights have been off for over 10 engine start stop cycles. And no cel lights on either since the replacement.

I’m just curious if the confirmed code will eventually clear itself. If so how long does confirmed codes usually take to clear itself?

I believe, it is a good practice and sometimes a requirement to clear error codes. A generic code reader should be able to erase the error code or you could disconnect the battery. However, after disconnecting the battery you might have to re-calibration of windows, AC etc.
