My 2013 ls460 came with chrome pillar post covers, Was wondering how i can remove them without damage to satin black behind it, Look like its on with 3M tape, Any ideas

 

If you can get fishing line between the cover and the pillar, use a hairdryer to heat up the chrome (and loosen the glue) and saw your way down behind it with the fishing line. You'll still have to clean up the leftover tape/gunk, but they should come off easily enough.

 

Good advice from Dave. I was just going to say heat up the chrome, but using the fishing line is ingenious!

Well done for not leaving or making any marks. Mine is damaged and the dealer quoted £1200 for part alone. It comes as an all in one piece

 

Can you guys post some photos of the chrome removed from car? Thinking about removing mine.
