I never ordered from Rock Auto, but they don't seem to get good reviews. No doubt your local dealer is high, but consider that you only buy these every 60,000 miles (which is what, every 4 to 6 years?), what does it matter if you pay a little more from a local supplier.

I got my 3473s a year and a half ago from Advance Auto. Regular price was $15.49 each, but I guess there was some sort of sale or some discount that gave me $30.00 off. So $100.50 out the door with tax. Even with shipping cost, that Rock Auto price seems decent (haven't price checked these recently).

Thanks all. I need my valve cover gasket replaced (at 105k miles) so I'm deciding to replace the plugs since I think they need to come out anyway. I ordered them and I'll keep an eye to make sure they're not counterfeit.

As for Rockauto, they're a pretty big force in car parts. I just got my Centric rotors from them.

Well, there is no need to remove spark plugs if you are changing valve cover gaskets. But it is good time to replace the plugs. Make sure you get tube seals replaced as well because those tend to leak.

If leaking obviously, or as preventative maintenance, it would also be a good time to replace the gaskets on the hi-pressure fuel pumps if not already done. A couple of vent tubes as well for older models like my '07.

Try Discount Parts Monster for the plugs. There are just a hair under $13.00 each for part # 9091901249. I bought from here about a year ago and have had no issues.

You are not taking into account that RockAuto is not trying to bend you over until you touch your toes. On the other hand Lexus will bend you over until your palms are flat on the floor. I bought my OEM plugs for my 2010 LS460L which now have 34K on them from RockAuto and have had no problems.

plugs used to be copper tip and replace 12,000 mile
then platinum replace every 120,000 miles ( that is what we have)
now have iridium or something so maybe there is a better plug ??

Here is some proof of why the interval for the 460s was 60k for the 2007 year cars, these were out of a forum members car with 59k miles on it.

Lexus pushed the interval up to 120k to lower advertised cost of ownership even though you already see leakage at 60

You are awesome striker223 but here are plugs with 147k miles on them. I changed them at 267k. Was put in by dealer at 120k. It is clear they are done but no codes when I changed them. Changed them for iridium plugs.
