Hello everyone I just wanted to post this just in case someone else had this problem before. My battery died and my doors were all locked, I panicked because I couldn’t get the door open so that I could jump it off, so I remember most cars have a keyhole by the latch so that you can used the key fob key to unlock it, well my LS 460 didn’t have one visible and that’s why I panicked, so I’m feeling around the drivers side latch and feel a small hole underneath the latch. I took my key from the fob and tried it and it popped the end piece off the handle to reveal the keyhole which allowed me to get in the car. You guys might know this already but I just want to post my experiences for someone who didn’t know

I've had to use that manual release twice in the last 4 years =P

 

I knew there was a key slot somewhere so your visual is a great contribution! Hope I never have to use it but nice to have it when needed.

 

I use that to lock the car with it running (A/C on for the dog) when we stop at Costco on the way to the cottage.
