Elegant (Classy) VS Sporty
I have owned 3 Lexus LS since I was 18 years old, and was proud of it. People always made fun of me for driving a Old man's car, but when we would take long trips or they would go inside my car they would understand why I loved this car soo much. People would tell me this is the smoothes car they have ever been in. I owned A 1991 Lexus LS400, 2001 LS430, and Now a 2013 LS460L UL.
I have always loved Lexus for being classy, elegant, and smooth, especially the LS Line. I am not gonna a lie, I used to be into the fast and the furious car scenes back in the day, but the first time I sat in a Lexus LS, I was sold. I bought my LS400 and never looked back. Ever since then I was into the stock chrome, or even the larger chrome wheels look(luxury look), but now I noticed that Lexus is moving towards the sporty look, and moving away from the conservative, classy, and luxury look. Dont get me wrong, I dont hate the sporty look, just never understood it on the LS because I always thought the LS Line was made for comfort and luxury.
The F sport line had never caught my attention until recently I was driving and saw this White LS460 F sport crafted line and I started to appreciate it. Before, I never understood when I would see alloy or sport wheels on the LS(to each their own), but I guess I am now starting to.
I am starting to have this conflict between the F sport and Non F sport models. I am currently looking for a Crafted line and hopefully can own both models. Has anyone had this conflict between the two? Has anyone owned both? What are your thoughts on the two?

I had a 2014 F Sport. Just wasn’t the car for me. Don’t know if it was the particular car, but it rode hard, sounded loud, and didn’t suit my needs. My 08 LS IMPO was the better car. You will certainly be best served to drive the car before you buy. I didn’t and thanks to Carvana, I was able to get out of it and make a bit. So be sure you spend quality time with it before you pull the trigger. Best of luck.

Interesting about the interior. The look of the exterior and interior were the only things I liked about the car. Totally agree with you on the ride and mine was noisy. Hence the reason I sold it.
I like both classy and sporty. IMO the F Sport LS, especially the crafted line with the black trim is too far on the sporty side.
Thats one thing I don't like about the LS vs the german competitors. You can't get a sport appearance package without getting a full on sport model with sport suspension etc. In a perfect world I would want a car that looks like the F Sport outside while riding like the regular car and looking like the regular car inside. My S Class for instance has the AMG Sport package, but the suspension and everything is untouched and the only difference inside is aluminum pedals. Same is available on the 7 Series and A8, but not on the LS.
F Sport interior can't have all the leather upgrades and no wood trim isn't for everyone.
