Has anyone ever dropped the gas tank on the ls460? If so are there special tools need . Tips would help also .

 

Have you lifted up the rear seat? That is how the tank / lines are accessed. The protective covers on the bottom of the car will expose the lines and connections too. Your specific line I'm not sure about. I would guess you need need access above and below in order to replace it. I've never heard of someone dropping the tank on one of these.

 

You basically have to remove the rear seats, disconnect the lines then go underneath the car and remove the rear exhaust pipes and propeller shaft.
