Default hub centric ring experience on the LS 460?

The 19 inch Tesla Model S wheels are easily available. 19 inch wheels for LS 460 are very hard to find. The only difference I see is 1) offset 35mm (LS 460) vs 40mm (Model S) and 2) hub size 60.1mm (LS 460) vs 64.1mm (Model S). Everything else is the same. It should be as easy as fitting a 4mm hub centric ring and the Tesla Slipstream wheels will fit onto the LS 460. I have never had to use a hub centric ring to fit aftermarket wheels. What has the experience been for forum members?Aluminum or Polycarbonate?

I have used polycarbonate with success for 4 years. I do replace them as they get banged up, but they are not expensive. I used them for my winter wheels.
