Replacement of the brake actuator at a Lexus dealer runs $2k to $3k or so. I was quoted around $3 but it was actually replaced under Lexus' extended warranty. I believe it runs for 10 years from the vehicle's in service date. Failure of this item is fairly common, hence the extended warranty.
