Mice ate my car.
2015 LS AWD, I too just had my fuel pump recall completed last month.... Drove the car Sunday, ran perfect.... Got in to go to work Monday, CEL light, yellow caution light and others, no power and running horrible... My immediate thought was what came lose from when they did the fuel pump.... Towed to the dealer today, just got the call. Mice ate wires from Sunday night to Monday Morning, from what they see at least # 4 cylinder..... I knew wiring was Soy based on European such as Audi (ask me how I know), but I did not know that Lexus also used Soy based.
Lexus.... Really?????? You couldn't have protected the wires?????

Well, I found this article Lexus Class Action
and was very surprised to learn that Lexus actually used organic based sheathing. Tech at the dealer called this right away, before removing intake manifold, so it is pretty common issue apparently.

There's a fuel pump recall on the 2013-2015 LS? Sorry I've been absent on this forum for a few months so shame on me for missing this. I just put my VIN in nhtsa.gov for this recall and mine does not come up as having an unrepaired recall. Is it just certain ones?
Yeah, I got a chuckle as I read the title and pictured a couple mice with really big swollen bellies, toothpicks, and just a license plate laying on the floor. Ha! I wonder if cylinder #5 might have eaten a mouse when you fired it up?
Here's my thoughts on it. As a person if you have been really hungry, and I mean really really hungry, you will eat any food, even what you hate worse. Mice, and any other animal, are in the same situation. So sometimes a deterrent will work and sometimes not.
The problem I have where I live is the damn chipmunks. Fortunately they don't do the damage to the cars as mice do, but I'll leave a car parked for 3 or 4 days and they'll build a nest on top of the engine. And then they're always digging holes.

Bought three of them form Amazon, look for the highest rating, you open the door put some nuts and eventually some peanut butter on a small plate ( which keeps the door open ) once they go inside and step on the plate the door closes, and here you are !
This is what I use, but sometimes the little suckers eat the bait and don't set off the trap.
