Cool, they'll probably make for a nice Christmas gift! My car is still operating properly and running strong with the Red Bullets. In addition to the increase in performance, I would expect better fuel mileage as well. But admittedly, it's been difficult not to really get on the accelerator whenever I drive my LS now. The first time I filled up after installation of the Red Bullets, I was surprised to see such an increase in "cruising range", but I pretty much disregarded it, as I figured it was the system just beginning to adapt to the new solenoid valves.

It's been 450 miles since installing the Red Bullets, and here is a pic I took two days ago after filling up and taking a short trip. I plan to check mileage manually next fill up.

love to hear if you get a mpg boost. How’s your driving style? I usually drive it like I stole it from the bmw lot lol

Know watcha mean brother, pretty much the same here. Don't know if you already have one, but I highly recommend the Pedal Commander that allows the fly-by-wire throttle sensitivity to be adjusted to one's liking. It really improves the holeshot off the line and is great for stop light launches. ;-)

Thanks! Looking forward to getting them in. We'll see how hard the OEM ones come off. That's really impressive for the cruising range as well. Looking forward to the mpg boost among other things

I don't think this thing gives an mpg boost. I recently had my battery replaced and my mpg boosted up to something similar. I believe the ECU resets itself when something substantial is disconnected from the system; therefore giving the "factory set" mpg ratings. Btw does anyone know if we do a cat delete; we gain some horsepower from this? I'm itching for more power baby!

It's been 788 miles and just over a month since I installed the Red Bullets and am happy to report there have been no issues, warning lights, or codes whatsoever. Also, there has been no discernable difference in fuel mileage after manually computing MPG with my first complete fill up (21 gallons), as I recorded about 18.2mpg with about 60/40 city/highway miles. Before the Red Bullets, I was getting anywhere between 18-19mpg with around the same ratio of city/highway miles. Considering I have the Pedal Commander set on Sport+ (0) and often accelerate briskly <LOL>, the increased performance without mpg reduction is a win-win for me.

Glad to here it. Sounds like a win to me.

Id like to see some legit dyno charts for parts mentioned in this thread...

With the AA80E and SPDS F transmission, yes its worth chasing more power... Running a mandrel bent custom built 2.25” midpipe and 2.5” axleback exhaust and a pair if TOMs Racing filters I see how they compliment each other (I really need a tune).

With the normal slow shifting 8 speed I dont see a point messing with engine components to squeeze out a few horses allegedly. When I drive a friends GS460 I see exactly how disappointing the combination is when you ask the engine and transmission to work at its limit. You cant tune the 8 speed to work the same way as the F cars AA80E. Too add to this, its even more disappointing to have 400+ horsepower and open differential (‘13-17 LS460 F Sport has a Torsen)

exactly! Need some dyno results before anything.

Which transmission does 2014 f sport have ? I heard it’s the same as the Isf..can this transmission and 4.6L engine be tuned to get the 400+ Hp?

There’s always an option to remove the crankshaft, water pump, alternator and all the accessory pulleys and have them cnc aluminum customly built. Recently did this upgrade on my daily beater(Camry 2.5L v4) and she picks like a V6 and dyno charts prove gains in HP!

Let’s get the 460 up to it’s numbers

I agree! Did you have your 460 dynoed after the exhaust work and Tom's filters?

No I didnt but what I could tell is how fast it slams into the redline now. Seat of the pants agrees too. ISFs can gain an easy 25+ horse at the wheels from just a aftermarket axleback and midpipe with no secondary cats.

These 4.6s can benefit nearly as much as a 2UR 5.0 can from similar modifications..

10-17 Sport/F Sport has the ISF transmission.

My extremely long term process(1967) is to build up the platform first. More suspension. Stiffer chassis. Better brakes. Better tires...... then when you KNOW the engine is the last holdback then turn it up. More displacement and stroke=more torque and some horsepower

the crank out of the 600 to get to 5 liters might be a drop in?

For sure! I like what you did with yours, and I'm looking in to having an exhaust built similarly. Though before I expend the time, effort, and money, it sure would be nice to see some dyno runs. Have you ever timed runs 0-60mph, 0-100kp/h, or maybe 1/4 mile? Thanks for your input brother!

Thanks. Its a V8 theres always a few to gain. The real hold up is the headers, cats and the massive rear mufflers. For a while I ran the Toms filters with modded mid pipe and oem axleback (between my 2nd and 3rd axleback). While it wasnt much louder than stock, the induction noise was nice (F Sport sound generator) I could tell it did feel a bit choked near redline. Once the 2.5” Vibrant’s were added it was obvious that oem rear mufflers holding me back.

I have no official paper work for my claims ! Lol
