Searched but to no avail. How does one program the vehicle or fob to Auto Unlock as you get close?
I have a 2015 LS 460 that does and 2014 LS 460 that currently does not. Perplexed...

 

2015 year brought a lot of new features to Lexus cars. I believe, they updated the onboard system to a new version and it is not compatible with previous generations. Please, correct me if I am wrong.

 

That's a new one on me. I've only ever walked up to the car, pressed the button to open the doors.

 

There was a recent thread about this same subject. To my knowledge there is no factory way to accomplish a proximity unlock. You still need to touch the door handle to unlock the car. The only setting that I have seen is whether to unlock the drivers door only or all doors depending on which handle you touch.

 

The owner's manual for both cars says that you have to grip the door handle to unlock the doors. I don't think the LS460s have ever had a feature that unlocked the doors by proximity.
