Has anyone had a problem with your car squeaking when you are driving? You could just be driving down the road or hit a small bump and SQUEAK.
One word, squeak, is insufficient to really give a detailed guess as to what is going on. Is it coming from inside or outside the car? Can you tell if the noise is coming from a specific corner? Have you tried to examine the condition of the suspension and brake components? Are the exhaust heat shields intact? Do you have anything loose inside the car?
I had a hair pulling squeak in an old Toyota many years ago that I eventually identified to be coming from an incorrectly placed spare tire tool in the trunk.
About a month ago I had the control arms replaced on the front of the car. A couple weeks later it started with this noise. It appears to come from both front and back. The noise is like putting your foot on some stairs in a haunted house. The best I can describe it.
I’ve the same issue/noises on my 07LS460 RWD, after I replaced all 8 front control arms and removed OEM air suspension with BC COILOVERS installed, the noises appeared on small pot holes or very uneven surfaces, sometimes only, not sure it’s from arms bushes/rubber or coils. I don’t have time to worry too much about it now, as the front brake makes horrible constant noises after rotors been machined 2 weeks ago. I need to eliminate brake noises first, then suspension, then engine knocking later...
