There's a lot of mixed information on the 2007 gps on here. It says cannot read program concult dealer. Quite simply, how do I know if the hard drive is screwed? I have a multimeter if that helps in any way. Also if it is done for, what is the process of replacing it if I find one at a junkyard or on ebay? Does it need to be flashed or calibrated to the ecu? Where should I get this done? On a budget so cheap fixes are best. I know I bought the wrong car for that.

When is the last time you put in a battery? Sometimes a bad car battery can cause all sorts of issues. Run it by an Autozone and have them test it. That's a good start.
