Default OBD reader/scanner

Hi all - I'm still troubleshooting the ABS/AFS errors on my car and wanted to capture the speed sensor data live to see if there are blips in the the sensor being reported. Can someone recommend a good OBD2 reader/scanner that can do this?

Or is everyone using TIS?

I have the Carista OB2 reader that works with the App to diagnose the car and customize vehicle settings. I am very happy with the product. It's a subscription service now, but still a decent value. I bought it when they were running a promo for lifetime subscription a few years ago.

Does it provide live ABS/Sensor data?

I can run the diagnostics when the engine is running, so I suppose the reader is providing live data. Check the Carista site for details.

Get a compatible MINI-VCI cable and Techstream. They're cheap, like $10-25.
Here's a video with a basic rundown of what it can do. It can almost do everything the real one does except security and software updates. You can capture live data from the sensors.
Only pain is sometimes you have to download a few versions to find a version that completely works with your car.

Or get a real Techstream or Techstream lite cable starting at like $1500.

Search the forums for Techstream cable. Im sure search will turn up at least one other thread
There are also many places that explain how to download and use it. Its widely used.
