Default Start Stop Button Removal....

So my 2008 LS460 start stop button needs to be replaced at the wording is flaking off and there is a large white spot in the middle of the button that is an eyesore

Can I use a prytool under the metal looking lip and pop it out ?

When I saw your post I invented something in my head, then said "I bet someone else has already done this" and went and searched ebay for start stop button vinyl / decals

Amazon Amazon

Don't know if they have one specific for the 4LS, but probably could just measure to see if same size

I did see those on Ebay. I think I am going to remove my start stop button and replace it, if I can figure out how. I would prefer not to remove the navigation or dash, thats why I was asking if it would slowly pry out

I believe you have to push it out from behind. If you remove the drivers kick panel you might be able to get your hand on it. Here is some photos of one out. Hope this helps.
